Roles and Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for maintaining regulatory and professional standards and exhibit strong decision-making capabilities.
- Must have experience with anesthesia, pediatric sedations, ventilator/ICU patients, general pediatric experience with non-sedated patients, and scanning of conditional devices using SAR and/or B1+RMS guidance being able to manipulate parameters to meet conditions for scanning.
- L2 Trauma, Pacemakers/ICD, Conditional Implants
- A close working relationship with Radiology leadership, radiologists, and the medical staff is required to maintain a cost-effective and patient-focused service.
- This position is responsible to provide care for patients undergoing MR procedures using the approved workflows and procedural protocols.
- Technologists in this position can demonstrate full knowledge of MR equipment. Performs routine and special exams consistent with established protocols to minimize repeat examinations.
- Exam productivity is within established benchmark. Consistently completes all exams and documentation in CHL and PACS.
- Consistently and accurately identifies all charges associated with studies.
- Addresses errors and resolves issues related to final product being sent to PACS.
- Consistently demonstrates commitment to safe practices. Commitment to avoid red rule violations (Two for Two), laterality errors, eliminate falls, and Magnet Safety.
- Completes all requires competencies by designated timeframe.
- Exemplary model of client values, service excellence and service recovery.
- Assists with patient transport as necessary.
Required Qualification:
- Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program – Required
- Minimum 2yrs experience required.
- Must be registered in MRI with ARRT or ARMRIT
- BLS (CPR)
