Title: Development Engineering Technician II
Location: Marlborough MA
Duration: 6 months
Pay: $37/hr on w2

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts component, module, and or system testing to approved protocols.
- Creates, modifies, or assembles prototype electrical, mechanical, or software components as specified by Engineer, including electrical cable assemblies and PCB rework.
- Assemble complex prototype models for testing.
- Records activities and results according to approved Engineering Documentation guidelines.
- Provides input to protocols for component, module, and or system testing.
- Provides basic outlines and or flowcharts of procedures used to create, modify, or assemble prototype components.
- Completes multiple tasks for one or more engineers in parallel.
- May provide input to engineers for manufacturability, serviceability, or user friendliness of products in development.

Review with manager the list of objectives for the week and their targeted due dates. For each objective, clarify with manager the desired deliverables, and identify support and/or training required. Once the technician is comfortable proceeding, execute the task. Typical deliverables are assembling and testing X-ray devices and their subsystems.

Any other critical details to note for our suppliers? (Team size, team dynamic, applicable job titles that would apply if not already listed, opportunity sell points, etc.): This position will interface with approximately five R&D personnel during this assignment, with the hiring manager setting priorities and objectives. This R&D group consists of mechanical, systems and software engineers. There may be cases where discussions are needed with engineers located at other sites through the US, and this is typically done vis MS Teams.

This team is driven to develop new X-ray devices and technically support X-ray devices already on the market. The team has a common goal of meeting these goals through collaboration, clear communication, ideation, assisting each other, and taking responsibility to meet individual commitments.
