Perform basic troubleshooting of laptops, desktops, and peripherals before escalating to workstation or endpoint support teams.
Validate device readiness and ensure quality before releasing hardware to end users.
Support user device replacements, swaps, and lifecycle refresh activities.
Coordinate warranty repair and RMA activities with hardware vendors and manufacturers.

Perform secure data wipes, drive destruction, and end-of-life asset handling in compliance with NERC/CIP and internal security standards.
Document disposition steps and maintain audit-ready lifecycle records within ServiceNow or approved asset systems.
Ensure awareness of internal control processes and SOX-related asset handling guidelines.
Process Improvement, Documentation & Collaboration:
Maintain and update standard operating procedures for IT asset handling and warehouse operations.
Assist in developing efficient workflows to optimize inventory accuracy, deployment speed, and data quality.
Collaborate with workstation, network, security, procurement, and IT Asset Management teams to support enterprise hardware standards and refresh cycles.
Key Attributes:

Strong interpersonal and team-building skills with the ability to work across diverse teams and influence change across functional and business boundaries.
Must be reliable, accountable, and flexible.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required to perform job duties.
Ability to lift, move, and carry equipment weighing between 10 and 70 pounds to perform essential job functions.
Candidate will be working on-site in Topeka, KS. Core hours are Monday through Friday 7a-4p with some flexibility.
