Job Review:
We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join the Digital & AI (DSAI) organization, supporting **** Energy Americas Gas & Power within Trading & Supply (T&S). This role is part of the General Manager Architect Trading & Supply group and is responsible for delivering high-quality solution architecture for business projects, programs, and products.

The Solution Architect (SA) ensures IT solutions are fit for purpose, align with Client s technology strategy, and maintain technical integrity, while optimizing total cost of ownership (TCO). Success in this role is measured by stakeholder satisfaction and the successful deployment of solutions into production.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Architecture Delivery

• Own and deliver high-quality architecture that aligns with business and IT strategy.
• Ensure solutions are designed for current and future needs, maintaining compliance with Client s standards and technology strategy.
• Accountable for the technical integrity and scalability of the solutions.

2. Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with Lead Architects, IT Managers, and Product/Project Managers to deliver, assure, and implement solutions.
• Lead teams of architects through squads, providing coaching and skills development.
• Support resource management (if in a line management role).

3. Solution Development & Assurance

• Provide technical consultancy and assurance for projects, ensuring adherence to Client standards and reference architectures.
• Own the end-to-end architecture of products, from design to deployment and hyper care.
• Review low-level designs and make key technical design decisions.

4. Integration & Data Management

• Address business process, data, application, technical, and security requirements.
• Ensure all solution architecture documentation aligns with Client s data management and security policies.
• Maintain and enforce data quality standards and governance compliance.

5. Technology & Innovation

• Define technology services and components that drive business value.
• Conduct proof of concepts (PoCs) to evaluate new technologies.
• Ensure solutions are future-proof, considering compliance, regulatory requirements, security, and privacy-by-design principles.

Must-Have Experience & Skills:
1. Industry-Specific Experience (Mandatory)

• Trading experience is required, preferably in energy trading.
• At a minimum, candidates must have oil & gas industry experience.

2. Technical & Architecture Experience

• 7-10 years in Digital & IT architecture with at least 3 years of stakeholder management experience.
• Strong background in software engineering, solution architecture, and technology leadership.
• Experience working in virtual teams across different time zones and cultures.
• Agile and product-focused delivery experience.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF).
• Proficiency with architecture tooling such as BizzDesign, PowerDesigner, and ArchiMate modeling standard.
