Job Requirements:
- Must live 100 miles or more away.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, CT/XR starting at 3 PM.
- On-call may be needed.
- Must be knowledgeable with Philips, Toshiba, and Canon CT scanners.
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a registered radiology technologist.
- CT tech experience required.
- Active state license with Fluoro required.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT required.
- Current State/District license required.
Job Duties:
- Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors.
- Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors.
- Position the body correctly for imaging.
- Review physicians' orders and obtain pertinent clinical data.
- Consistently produce high-quality radiographs while reducing unnecessary radiation to patients and self.
- Assist physicians during procedures, including:
- Room preparation.
- Managing supplies.
- Handling contrast reactions and responding to codes.
- Ability to schedule and complete exams efficiently.
- Enter correct charge codes for procedures.
