Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Duration: 4+ months
Location: Wilmington NC
Shift: Monday-Friday 8AM-12PM
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of our company, engaging with patients for routine health checkups and critical health decisions. The role primarily involves high-quality blood specimen collection, accurate processing, and creating a trustworthy environment for patients. PSR IIs may be assigned to a doctor's office, patient service center, or other facilities based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily activities with accuracy and timeliness under supervision.
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties.
Verify patient demographics and ensure specimens are labeled correctly in the patient’s presence.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Demonstrate professionalism and organizational commitment.
Represent the company with a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the general public.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience
Skills & Attributes:
Excellent phlebotomy skills
Ability to deliver error-free work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle high-volume tasks
Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
Ability to make sound decisions within established guidelines
Willingness to embrace change and drive for process excellence
Additional Job Details:
Schedule Commitment: Must be available for all scheduled shifts, arrive on time, and complete the entire shift.
Training Location: May vary based on trainer availability.
Duration: 4+ months
