Shift:M-F 8am-1pm /EST
Overview:
The PSR II is the face of our organization, providing direct patient care through skilled blood collection and specimen preparation. This role ensures a professional, safe, and positive patient experience while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform blood draws (venipuncture) and specimen processing per established protocols.
Verify patient identity and labeling accuracy.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Provide excellent service and clear communication to patients and staff.
Support multiple sites as needed, with flexibility for weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
Maintain accurate records and follow all company policies.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA; preferred elsewhere).
3+ years phlebotomy experience (pediatric and geriatric included).
Strong customer service skills; prior retail or service experience a plus.
Ability to work independently and handle high-volume tasks.
Reliable transportation and ability to commute within 20–25 minutes of worksite.
Consistent attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
Medical assistant or paramedic training.
Experience in Patient Service Centers or similar clinical settings.
