Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Jonesboro, GA

Schedule: Day Shift
Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support clinical operations and provide patient care in a healthcare setting in Jonesboro, GA. The Medical Assistant will assist providers with patient examinations, clinical procedures, and administrative duties while ensuring a high level of patient care and documentation accuracy.
Key Responsibilities

Assist physicians and healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures

Record patient vital signs, medical history, and clinical information

Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical equipment

Administer medications and injections as directed by providers

Perform basic clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, specimen collection, and EKGs (if applicable)

Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Provide patient education and support during visits

Ensure compliance with clinic policies, safety protocols, and infection control guidelines
Required Qualifications

Medical Assistant Certification

BLS Certification
-
Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience

Strong clinical and patient communication skills
