Phlebotomist I
Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Arcadia, FL
Duration: 5 months
Shift: Monday- Friday 7am-12pm, Every 3rd Saturday 7am- 11am
Overview:
The PSR I is the frontline representative for patients, responsible for collecting quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing. This role requires professionalism, strong phlebotomy skills, and the ability to create a trustworthy, comfortable environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens accurately.

Ensure patient confidentiality and safety at all times.

Maintain clean, professional workspace and follow all protocols.

Communicate procedures clearly and build patient trust.

Accurately document and maintain records.

Demonstrate leadership, accountability, and a positive attitude.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in CA, NV, WA)

Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)

Minimum 6 months experience (1+ year preferred)

Strong phlebotomy skills (including pediatric/geriatric)

Customer service and data entry experience

Able to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
