Role Overview:
The Maintenance Technician I will provide high-level maintenance support across the Memphis Global Logistics Center, ensuring optimal performance and uptime of facility equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance (PM), equipment troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Role Overview:
The Maintenance Technician I will provide high-level maintenance support across the Memphis Global Logistics Center, ensuring optimal performance and uptime of facility equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance (PM), equipment troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on schedule and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Support Sr. Field Service and Lead Maintenance Technicians with scheduling and completion of PMs.
- Monitor production lines and reduce equipment downtime in collaboration with manufacturing teams.
- Initiate work orders and track equipment issues using Proteus CMMS or similar systems.
- Communicate equipment status and issues following Stop & Fix protocols.
- Build, rebuild, and maintain machine assemblies for optimal performance.
- Participate in energy management and sustainability initiatives.
- Identify recurring equipment problems and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing knowledge on equipment, safety practices, and PM procedures.
- Operate and troubleshoot robotic systems in production environments.
- Maintain compliance with the company s Code of Conduct and all safety and training requirements.
- Support 6S workplace organization initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or associate degree in a technical field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Systems & Tools:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CMMS platforms (Maximo, Proteus).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Able to work independently and in team settings.
- Customer-focused with a proactive mindset.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Frequent walking and equipment handling throughout the facility.
- Mindset:
- Safety-focused with a desire to continually improve skills and contribute to team success.
