Title: Sr Supply Chain Logistics Analyst
Location: Deerfield IL - Hybrid
Contract: 8 Months and Possibility of Extension
The Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain 3PL will lead day-to-day activities and work on high-priority strategic initiatives in alignment with the business strategy and long-term goals. Analyzes production, inventory control, distribution, cost analysis, finances and/or a variety of other business and technical problems to formulate and develop new or modified solutions to business issues affecting the 3PL operations.
What youll be doing
Maintain strong relationship with third-party (3PL) suppliers to optimize performance, resolve issues and develop improvement strategies to sustain Best in Class performance
Develop and maintain supply chain metrics and dashboards to track performance
Analyze data from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can help improve supply chain operations
Identify and implement process improvements, regularly reviewing supply chain processes, and suggesting ways to streamline operations and reduce costs
Help core teams on the management of program/project requirements, Product, activities, and milestones related to supply chain
Lead standard program/project management items, priorities, and capacity needs related to supply chain
Provide recommendations with the build-out of internal processes and procedures to support supply chain strategy.
Update and maintain models in Microsoft Office Products, and scenario-based planning models & systems integration
Performs other duties as assigned
What youll bring
Bachelors degree is preferred, or Minimum of three or more years relevant professional experience
Working knowledge of JD Edwards and WMS systems is a plus
Comprehensive understanding of the supply chain process and the ability to analyze and optimize it
2+ years of Experience working on large-scale or multi-faceted projects
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and can work with an appreciable amount of latitude
Expertise in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel
Excellent communication & superior collaboration skills
Must be able to work within a team environment.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Demonstrated ability to quickly and effectively problem solve
Proactive and innovative
