Phlebotomist II
Title: Phlebotomist II
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 4 months
Shift: Monday to Friday - 7 AM to 4:30 PM
Overview:
The PSR II serves as the face of the company, providing exceptional patient care through skilled blood collection and specimen processing. This role supports lab testing by ensuring accurate, safe, and efficient phlebotomy procedures while maintaining patient trust and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws

Verify patient information and labeling accuracy post-collection

Maintain accurate documentation and follow established procedures

Deliver excellent customer service in various settings (Patient Service Centers, doctor’s offices, etc.)

Travel to different locations as needed with minimal notice

Ensure a professional, clean, and safe environment

Uphold company policies, dress code, and safety guidelines

Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)

Medical assistant or paramedic training (PREFERRED)

Phlebotomy certification (REQUIRED in CA, NV, WA; preferred elsewhere)

Experience:

3+ years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatrics & geriatrics)

Customer service & data entry experience preferred
