Physical Therapist

Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Manitowoc, WI, 54220
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible extension)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day
Schedule: Anywhere between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, 40 hours/week
 
Job Summary:

• Evaluates and treats referred physical therapy patients based on physician orders
• Performs initial patient evaluations, administers tests, and establishes treatment plans with patient/caregiver input
• Administers treatment strategies in line with current physician orders and established plans
• Delegates task and supervises PTAs or HHAs as appropriate
• Tracks and documents patient progress, updating goals and plans accordingly
• Completes documentation within department standards, ensuring it reflects skilled and medically necessary intervention
• Meets productivity standards and utilizes non-productive time to support departmental goals
• For home health cases, adheres to OASIS, safety standards, resource utilization guidelines, and participates in performance improvement initiatives

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Required)

• Wisconsin state license as a Physical Therapist (Required)
• BLS certification from AHA or equivalent (Required)

• Good communication skills
