Legal Assistant

Careers Integrated Resources Inc Nashville, TN (Onsite) Contractor
The Legal Assistant (ECD Contracts Coordinator) is responsible for the processing of all ECD contracts and provides administrative support to the ECD Legal division.
This position requires strong communication skills, an attention to detail, an ability to work with various stakeholders, and a positive team orientation.

Job duties include:
Drafting and processing contractual agreements and all supporting documentation pursuant to state and federal contracting requirements and internal agency policies and practices.
Management of a high volume of document drafting projects and fielding of special projects as assigned by agency attorneys.
Working with the Legal Liaison to ensure all project trackers are timely updated and provide periodic contract status updates to programmatic staff.
Working with the Legal Liaison to compile contract information from ECD for the Tennessee Central Procurement Office and Comptroller s Office when requested.
Handling other administrative matters as assigned by the ECD Legal division.

Education Requirements and Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university and 3 5 years of work experience in a professional setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
Highly organized and highly detail oriented.
Excellent work ethic and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, as well as the State s Edison database.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Outstanding time management and prioritization skills.
