Pay Rate: $32/hr. on W2
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The role validates supplier and production processes, provides measurement documentation, and assists departments in interpreting data to maintain consistent quality standards.

Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer ensures the quality of processes and products by performing audits, inspections, testing, defect analysis, trend analysis, and calibration maintenance. The role validates supplier and production processes, provides measurement documentation, and assists departments in interpreting data to maintain consistent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate resolution of customer quality complaints with manufacturing plants through root cause investigations.
- Review CAPAs to determine robustness and define customer-acceptable corrective actions.
- Review and customize 8D reports for customers, including translation if needed.
- Implement QMS improvement requests from customers in collaboration with manufacturing plants.
- Provide regulatory compliance support for customer inquiries (EICC, RoHS, REACH, EPA).
- Validate control charts, analyze SPC results, and recommend process improvements.
- Apply statistical tools (SPC, MSA, Pareto, ANOVA) and quality tools (FMEA, Cause & Effect, 8D).
- Proficient use of Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab, and other relevant software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Strong expertise in SPC, root cause investigations, and quality auditing.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
- Experience with statistical and quality tools (SPC, FMEA, 8D, Pareto, ANOVA).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Minitab.
