Pay Rate: $65.00/hour
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, performs advanced professional radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging. May circulate to other diagnostic areas such as surgery, trauma, or pediatrics. Recognized as an expert in the field or participates in training programs to enhance skills in other specialized radiology modalities.
Essential Responsibilities:

Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, including IV pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography.

Assist physicians during specialized imaging procedures.

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or film output issues.

Serve as a resource and preceptor for other Radiographers and students.

Participate in training programs to develop skills in CT, MRI, or Special Procedures.

Maintain accurate records, inventory, and equipment.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Knowledge of diagnostic radiography techniques and equipment operation/maintenance.

Ability to prioritize tasks and assess/treat patients of all ages.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining procedures to patients and families clearly.

Computer proficiency.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-
Minimum one year full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the specialty relevant to the department.
Education Requirements:
-
Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program in a cardiovascular specialty OR
-
Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program.
-
Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
Certifications & Licenses:
-
Current credentials required upon hire/advancement from ARDMS, ARRT, and/or CCI in the relevant specialty.
-
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
