Quality Lead
Job Description:
QA Lead is responsible for leading their team. This can involves resolving conflicts between individual
team members or even between different teams. QA Lead will mentor their team and motivate them
during both the stressful times and the slow times on the job. Before a product is released to the public, it goes through a lot of quality assurance testing: the QA Lead organizes and manages that testing.The QA Lead is responsible for a successful product launch.
- Review Testing strategies to ensure the product being released is up to industry and company standard
- Execute testing plans, including testing phases and ensure the team meets the deadlines set forth in those plans.
- Evaluate the team throughout the life of the project to identify areas where improvement can be made.
- Identifies risk and creates plans to mitigate it. QA lead will hold regular team meetings to identify new risks as testing phases are completed and create new mitigation plans on the fly.
- Improve the current processes to make them more efficient. When problems with processes are identified, leads communicate their ideas to the different teams involved in the project.
- Throughout all phases of the product development, QA Lead will report progress, plans and problems to upper management and all other involved parties.
Skills/Experience:
- 1-2 years experience in a food manufacturing environment is required
- Advanced knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes, procedures and equipment
- Must demonstrate the ability to lead the work of other employees, assign duties and manage workflow/production for a shift
- Must have a good understanding of English, bilingual Spanish speaking a plus

_ Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
_ Flexible availability; we work night and weekend shifts.
_ Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
_ Must be able to handle exposure to temperatures that range from freezing to sub-freezing (coolers, freezers, etc.)
_ Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation
_ Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation
