Provide Engineering / Project Management activities supporting the execution capital projects and support of facilities operations.
Provide oversite and voice of the customer for onsite third-party engineering support.
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to review and approve drawing packages provided by internal or external engineering support.
Prepare and review bid packages from external suppliers and A&E firms.
Assist in development and implementation Engineering department capital budget for the facility.
Work closely with local facilities departments, corporate project managers and site operations management to coordinate design efforts; compile user requirements in alignment with design guidelines, commissioning, validation, and operational delivery of small to large-scale capital projects to meet project objectives.
Assist Facilities team with engineering oversight of distribution of chilled water, steam, power, gas and other utilities.
Ensuring compliance with national and local safety codes and regulations
Work with leadership in developing site master plans; prepare maintenance and engineering plans to support master plan objectives.
Monitor the condition of the facilities through assessments and condition evaluations.
Compile and maintain information on plant facilities; establish and maintain engineering and construction standards and drawings.
Support reliability / maintenance engineering functions.
Implement and oversee site energy savings strategies to align with corporate sustainability initiatives.
Support local and corporate safety program.
