Medical Operations Specialist

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Medical Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all promotional and non-promotional material produced and used in the commercial support of products meet Company, Health Canada, and industry standards and are reviewed, approved, and produced as per applicable Material Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Plan, conduct, and execute the material review process for a portfolio of products.
• Evaluate each project prior to initiation of the review cycle to ensure materials are produced as per the SOP and adhere to Health Canada, PAAB, IMC, and HCC guidelines.
• Maintain all documentation as outlined in SOPs to establish a proper audit trail.
• Provide department and project support as needed.

Additional Details:

• Role will be remote, but local to the Toronto area.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• This role will be more of a Medical Operations Specialist or Business Excellence Specialist.
• Must have 2-4 years experience.
• Medical background is not required.
• This role is more of an Operations Specialist with scientific background/experience.
• Experience with Medical Affairs or Medical Education supporting Operations.
• PMP certification would be extremely helpful.
• Must be comfortable with Salesforce and Veeva Vault.
