Job Title: Phlebotomist: Travel
Location: Lewiston, ID 83501
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)

Shift: Night

Job Summary:
Performs phlebotomy and other specimen collections. Provides clerical and receptionist support services by filing records and slides; answering the phone; making appointments; may assist patients to appropriate diagnostic area.
 
Responsibilities:

• Receives requisitions for laboratory testing and collects patient specimens such as urine, blood, etc., within required time frame.
• Consistently performs specimen processing using available personnel protective equipment and supplies.
• Displays good hygienic behavior to prevent self-inculcation and cross-contamination to self and other laboratory areas.
• Notifies testing personnel of patient's samples that are to be tested, i.e., blood, urine, stools, and culture specimens.
• Ensures all patient specimens are properly labeled with time and date of collection, patient's name, or LIS label on specimen.
• Completes clerical duties including filing, faxing, answering phones, and inputting orders into the computer.

• Candidate must be able to start within 2-3 weeks (on or before 1/19/26).

Facility Requirements:

• Must have BLS certification attached to submission packet (Must be through the American Heart Association).
• Must have 2 years recent experience in Phlebotomy with Hospital Lab experience.
• Shifts will be 7 days on & 7 days off.
• MUST USE TEMPLATE BELOW TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE.
• Any submittals without will be rejected.
