Perform a broad range of basic accounting, financial tasks, and member billing (with some clerical and/or administrative responsibilities).
Position Summary:
This candidate will be responsible for becoming the expert in PA CHIP billing expert, ensuring that members are billed accurately, payments are applied to their accounts, and providing support to the business as needed. In the first 3-6 months the candidate is expected to learn and fully understand the business, including our system and actively ask questions to deepen their knowledge.
Duties:
Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
- Understand and become the subject matter expect for CHIP Billing
- Access bank website to gather all checks received during a specific month
- Manually apply unapplied payments in QNXT
- Assist with the refund process in QNXT
- Prepare and support Health Plan with account payables requests
- Keep track or follow up with accounts payables for payment status
- Work with shared service to monitor SG&A expenses
- Meet with department owners to go over their monthly expenses
Experience:
2-4 years relevant experience. Communicate effectively at all levels, across departments, and with Business Partners. Possess the ability to adjust interaction and communications styles for different audiences and situations. Consistently demonstrates professionalism, reliability, accountability, and flexibility, in working with others Active listening skills Decisive and effective problem-solving ability with an understanding of how to effectively escalate problems or concerns to management. Ability to work well within a team setting. Strong attention to detail and process. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word.

QNXT system, healthcare industry
Education:
Bachelor degree
