Job Title: Training Specialist 3
Job Location: Irwindale, CA
Job Duration: 12 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm (flexible), between 20–40 hours per week
Payrate: $25-$39/39/hr. on W2
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Create structured training programs and curricula aligned with organizational goals using SuccessFactors LMS.
- Configure and manage learning items, programs, curricula within the LMS.
- Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of learning items, curricula in SuccessFactors.
- Work closely with lead instructional designers and subject matter experts (SMEs), business leaders to identify learning needs and define objectives.
- Contribute to instructional design projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
- Analyze job roles and tasks to inform curriculum design and ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Develop participant guides, facilitator guides, job aids, assessments, and digital learning assets (e.g., eLearning modules, videos).
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Skills / Attributes:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or learning experience design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Extensive hands-on experience with SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS), including building and managing learning items, programs, curricula, learning library, catalogs and assignment profiles.
- Reporting and analytics within SuccessFactors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Skilled in eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and curriculum mapping.
- Ability to conduct needs assessments and job task analyses.
- Experience developing both instructor-led and digital/virtual training solutions.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience of working with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desired Skills / Attributes:
- Experience designing digital learning experiences and virtual instructor-led training (vILT).
- Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, and other eLearning standards.
- Background in maintaining complex technical curricula or enterprise-wide learning programs.
- Certification in instructional design, project management, or SuccessFactors LMS administration is a plus.
