Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
 
Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in firewall administration and network security.
• Extensive experience with Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls.
• Proven experience with Ivanti SSL VPN Gateway.
• Strong experience with Cisco ACI and micro-segmentation.
• Solid understanding of Linux server commands and administration.

 
Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage high-volume workloads.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA), Juniper Certified Internet Specialist (JCIS), or equivalent are highly desirable.

 
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Firewall Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain firewall policies and rules for Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls.
• Configure and manage Ivanti SSL VPN Gateway to ensure secure remote access.
• Implement and manage Cisco ACI for network segmentation and micro-segmentation.

Security Operations:

• Monitor firewall logs and security events to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.

Network Administration:

• Utilize strong networking skills to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Implement and maintain network segmentation strategies.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure network infrastructure aligns with security best practices.

Linux Server Management:

• Execute and manage Linux server commands for system administration and security.
• Ensure the security and performance of Linux-based servers within the network.

 
Documentation and Reporting:

• Document configurations, procedures, and processes.
• Prepare and present reports on security posture, incidents, and improvements.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of security measures.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
