Engineer I
Job Title: Engineer I
Location: Logan, UT, 84321
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Temp-to-Perm potential based on performance and customer needs)
Shift: 1st Shift (M - F)
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor, this role supports large-scale internal and customer projects by leveraging expertise in bioprocess container (BPC) manufacturing and design. The position requires close collaboration across departments—including operations, process engineering, design, quality, and R&D—to develop and implement best practices in BPC manufacturing.
Key areas of expertise include single-use products, product/component design, manufacturing processes, and industry standards. Familiarity with drawings, specifications, BOMs, routings, and manufacturing documentation is essential.
Note: Entry-level candidates may be considered based on qualifications and interview performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform final reviews of product drawings, ensuring application and design integrity
- Address technical questions from internal teams and external sales/technical specialists
- Lead cross-functional team efforts to deliver on key projects and initiatives
- Collaborate with R&D and Process Engineering to specify and qualify new components, connections, and processes
- Drive data-based process improvements
- Participate in TrackWise investigations and manage CAPA tasks
- Demonstrate and promote the 4 I’s: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, Involvement
Required:
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of design-based engineering experience (required)
- 3 years of mechanical drafting experience (coursework acceptable, preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
- Competent in Microsoft Office and related applications
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years of design-based engineering experience
