Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Administrative on-call rotation every 7–8 weeks for one week at a time
Pay Range: $103,646.40 – $160,659.20 annually
Incentives: Relocation assistance available for candidates living outside a 70-mile radius (no sign-on bonus)

Job Summary:
Responsible for managing and supervising daily operations of the assigned nursing department. Assists in budgetary processes and planning.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage Human Resources to deliver cost-effective care and promote job satisfaction.

Mentor staff with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Evaluate, coach, and counsel nursing personnel to encourage professional growth and continuous improvement.

Interpret hospital policies and procedures, monitor staff compliance, and enforce corrective actions as needed.
-
Ensure staff competence through ongoing orientation and education programs.

Assume accountability for planning and fiscal management, including:

Preparing annual budgets and monitoring monthly budget reports
-
Seeking opportunities to reduce expenses
-
Adjusting resources to meet planned outcomes
-
Ensuring accurate and appropriate charging
-
Planning for capital replacements
-

Promote interdisciplinary care and improved patient outcomes through collaboration with physicians and caregivers.
-
Lead development of care paths and clinical guidelines for specific patient populations.
-
Identify best practices and areas for outcome improvement.
-
Maintain and update standards, policies, and procedures regularly.
-
Foster continuous feedback and improvement processes with staff.
-
Facilitate communication with relevant personnel to ensure continuity of patient care and problem resolution.

Initiate or recommend solutions to problems and ensure follow-through.
-
Collaborate with other departments to enhance patient care, develop programs, and implement innovative solutions.

Address customer complaints promptly to promote satisfaction.
-
Direct performance improvement activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
-
Develop systems for efficient patient transitions within the healthcare system.
-
Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers to maintain smooth operations.
Decision Making:
Exercises independent judgment in decision-making from a variety of alternatives, subject to general review only in final stages.
Working Relationships:

Direct supervision of nursing and support staff.

Conducts performance evaluations.
-
Works directly with patients, internal and external customers (via phone and in person).
-
Collaborates frequently with healthcare professionals and senior leadership (Director level and above).
Special Job Dimensions:
Must meet and maintain Clinical Manager Level III job factors.
Required Skills & Experience:

2 to 4 years of related nursing experience.

Working knowledge of disease state management, biopsychosocial model, and clinical practices.
Education:

Valid Registered Nurse License for Oklahoma or multi-state.
Additional Notes:

CNOR certification highly preferred.

1 to 2 years of leadership experience in the Operating Room (OR) preferred.
