Job Description:
- The nature of the work is focused on research and development of products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers.
- Utilizes veteran engineering knowledge and applied research towards the development and design of new products and processes.
- Under the guidance of more Senior Engineers, performs product development engineering work in one or more general engineering functions to include mechanical, process, product, chemical, etc.
- Applies this work to elevate the product through the use of new technologies and processes.
- Generates tests and results analysis.
- Concludes and makes subsequent process or product recommendations.
- Solves complex engineering problems and takes corrective action.
- Summarizes reports, data, and findings and prepares reports or briefs of assigned projects.
- Assists in presenting concepts and solutions at the functional level.
- Supports knowledge transfer outside of the functional area as needed.
Required:
- Experience in engineering in manufacturing spaces.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Data visualization, Python, and SQL are nice-to-haves.
Education:
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of directly relevant work experience
- Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Master's + 0-3 yrs; Associate degree + 1-3 yrs; High School + 3-5 yrs.
