Job Title: Patient Services Representative I / Phlebotomist
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Duration: 6 months
Shift:Mon-Fri 630a-330pm & Mandatory Saturday rotation 7a-12p. 35-40 hours per week. No Overtime.

Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is the frontline contact for patients, responsible for collecting high-quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, professionalism, and a commitment to patient care and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens accurately and safely.

• Provide excellent patient service by building trust and clearly explaining procedures.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure patient information confidentiality.

• Follow established protocols and demonstrate leadership behaviors.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

• Work independently and manage tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred); phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA; preferred elsewhere).

• Experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (required); 1+ year preferred. Customer service and data entry experience preferred.

• Skills: Pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy, attention to detail, confidentiality, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

• Availability: Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
