Job Title: Registered Dental Assistant
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11203
Job Duration: 3 months+ (with possible extension)

Shift Time: Morning Shift
Pay Rate: $30 - $32/hr. on w2
 
Job Description:
At l east 1 year of experience in role. - Monday-Friday & Saturdays, rotating hours required - 3 shifts:
8 am to 4 pm
9 am to 5pm
9:30 am to 5:30 pm - 35hrs
 
Duties:
Assists in providing dental services including preparing patients for exam/treatment, sterilizing instruments, maintaining equipment, mixing amalgams, cements, composites, taking dental x-rays, maintaining records, performing assigned lab procedures.
 
Minimum Qualifications:

• A four-year High School diploma or its educational equivalent, including or supplemented by a course of study consisting of at least 600 instructional hours at an approved school for Dental Assistants; or
• A four-year High School diploma or its educational equivalent, including or supplemented by a course of study consisting of at least 300 instructional hours at an approved school for Dental Assistants plus six months full-time satisfactory experience as a Dental Assistant performing all of the following duties: taking, developing, and mounting dental radiographs, assisting dentist at chairside, sterilizing dental instrument using autoclave; or
• A four-year High School diploma or its educational equivalent plus one year of full-time satisfactory experience as a Dental Assistant performing the duties described in 2 above; or\
• A satisfactory combination of education and experience which is equivalent to 1, 2, or 3 above. However, all candidates must have at least a four-year High School diploma or its educational equivalent. Experience as a receptionist or clerk in a dentist's office is not acceptable towards meeting the qualification requirements.
