Position Overview:
The ENTRY Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the “face of the company,” providing a welcoming, compassionate, and professional experience for patients. This is a front-of-house role that focuses heavily on customer service while offering structured training in phlebotomy for career growth within the organization.
This position is ideal for candidates with strong customer service experience who are eager to enter the healthcare field and learn phlebotomy skills.
 
Core Responsibilities:
Front Desk / Lobby Support

• Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in via kiosk or handheld tablet.
• Answer patient questions with care and compassion.
• Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the waiting area.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• Maintain required records and documentation.

Phlebotomy Training & Support

• Willingness to learn and perform phlebotomy during downtime or when covering breaks.
• Once trained, perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.
• Demonstrate confidence, professionalism, and patient-centered care during collections.

 
Key Requirements:
Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)

Experience

• 1–2 years of client-facing customer service experience (REQUIRED)
  (Retail, hospitality, home health aide, front desk, etc.)
• Keyboard and data entry experience REQUIRED
• Prior phlebotomy experience NOT required

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

 
Important Candidate Requirements:

• Must be willing to learn and perform phlebotomy — this is NOT strictly a front desk role.
• Must have reliable personal transportation (bus/Uber/rideshare not acceptable).
• Must live within a 20–25 minute commute to the worksite.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and able to stay for full scheduled shifts.
• Flexible to work scheduled shifts as assigned.
• Excessive absenteeism/tardiness will result in termination.
