Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Davie FL
Duration: 12 Months
Shift Schedule: 1st shift (8am - 5pm, would sometimes be required to come on a saturday)
Pay rate: $30/hr on w2
Temp to perm: Yes, if they like the candidate.
Start date: Immediately
Core Essential skill sets:
1. Requires a high school diploma. (Minimum must have requirement)
2. Minimum of 5 years relevant progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
3. 3-year experience in facilities maintenance (light electrical, HVAC, water, plumbing, patch and paint, mechanical repairs, etc.)
4. Should have Basic maintenance experience, simple repairs, electronic repairs, simple HVAC repairs.
5. Experience mentioned above is a must as the manager requires a person with good hands on experience.
ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible for maintaining building facilities in excellent GMP conditions and performing job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP s).
Responsible for maintaining work areas and performing job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP s) and Batch Record instructions.
Maintain best service by managing contractor s service contracts including but not limited to: pest control, landscaping, waste management, uniforms, facilities cleaning, car fleet, etc.
Execute all preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
Close and file completed work orders on monthly basis.
Liaison for problem solving with both management and service providers.
Evaluates inventories and request material, etc. in order to effectively carry out the department s function
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
Requires a high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years relevant progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Knowledge Microsoft Office and report writing.
3-year experience in facilities maintenance (light electrical, HVAC, water, plumbing, patch and paint, mechanical repairs, etc.)
Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently with attention to detail.
Multitask/problem solving ability.
Excellent interactive communication skills in English (bilingual helpful).
Provide prompt customer service with a primary focus on supporting all department.
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
Support utilities and facilities team as required.
Responsible for service contracts execution compliance
Support and execution of corrective actions (CAPAs) assigned to engineering/maintenance department
