Phlebotomist I

Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: Palm Springs, FL
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday and Saturday
Duration: 3+ months 

Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for collecting blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and providing excellent patient service. This role involves direct patient interaction and requires professionalism, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures while ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws (phlebotomy) and specimen collection for clinical and forensic testing.

• Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.

• Maintain required records and documentation.

• Explain procedures to patients and create a comfortable, professional environment.

• Follow safety, quality, and confidentiality guidelines.

• Support a positive experience for patients, clients, and team members.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

• Minimum 6 months experience; 1+ year phlebotomy experience preferred.

• Experience with pediatric and geriatric blood draws preferred.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Basic keyboard/data entry skills required.

Additional Requirements:

• Must live within a 20–25 minute commute of the worksite.

• Must have reliable transportation.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be punctual and available for scheduled shifts.
