- 1st shift position
- Hours: Start time between 6:00AM - 7:30AM with possible overtime.
- Overtime may include extended weekday hours or weekend work.
- Candidates must be willing to work off-shift hours if needed.
- As a Materials Specialist at Client Waterloo Works, you’ll play a pivotal role in the seamless operation of our manufacturing supply chain.
- Your expertise will facilitate the timely flow of materials necessary for efficient assembly, service, and inter-factory operations.
- This position is crucial to maintaining on-time delivery and ensuring the smooth execution of our production schedules.
1. Supply Chain Management:
- Coordinate and manage the flow of materials through a complex manufacturing supply chain, ensuring all components are in place for on-time delivery.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain effective communication channels, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Leverage your knowledge in SAP-PP (Production Planning) to optimize scheduling and ensure the achievement of desired delivery metrics.
- Utilize your scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment to develop and implement efficient plans under tight lead times.
- Demonstrate a foundational understanding of change control concepts to adapt and manage supply chain adjustments effectively.
- Engage with legacy material planning systems like CWIS to support service parts fulfillment seamlessly.
- 4-year degree in any business-related field.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel).
- Open to recent graduates – job is trainable.
- No gaps in employment history.
- Interviews will be conducted onsite.
- Business casual dress code.
- Candidates will need metatarsal protection for the first day.
