Position Summary:
- Client Health has an exciting opportunity for an Alarm Service/Installation Coordinator.
- This individual is responsible for supporting Burglary, Fire Alarm, and Access systems for Client Retail stores. Working closely with Client subcontractors to help resolve Service and Installation issues pertaining to Client entities.
- The Alarm Service/Installation Coordinator position is in a fast-paced call center environment working in conjunction with Client Central Station Monitoring team on trouble shooting calls.
- This role provides the opportunity to learn new technologies.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure proper communication for both the intrusion and fire alarm systems
- Manage Smartsheet and share validation details with other departments
- Validate the intrusion and fire alarm systems are reporting over the correct phone lines
- Calls store and perform technical troubleshooting ensuring the alarm system is picking up on the correct extension
- Program outbound dial parameters and ensure the intrusion alarm panel can accept program changes made through the phone system
- Email alarm service companies and schedule maintenance as necessary
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3-5yrs experience in alarm system installation &/or servicing. Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- CAD (computer assisted drafting) experience &/or training in alarm systems is desired.
- Factory training and hands-on experience with various alarm control equipment including Client, Bosch and DMP systems preferred
- Hands-on alarm system installation experience (preferably commercial but residential acceptable if substantial).
- Programming experience with alarm systems (e.g., Client, Bosch, DSC panels).
- Experience with full installations: cable pulling, panel mounting, programming, system hand-off.
- Knowledge of backend signal monitoring and system reprogramming (not just dispatch/monitoring center experience).
Licensing (Bonus):
- Class D Low Voltage License (Massachusetts) or equivalent in Rhode Island.
- Indicates formal training, field hours, and state certification.
Education:
- Must have minimum of 2-year associate’s degree in electronic technology or equivalent years of related work experience.
