Title:Phlebotomist II
Location: Canton, GA
Duration: 3 months
Shift: Mon - Thurs - 8 AM - 5 PM, Friday 8 AM to 1 PM EST

Overview:
The PSR II is the face of our organization, responsible for collecting high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and delivering excellent patient service. This role requires skillful phlebotomy (including pediatric and geriatric), strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Assignments may vary based on business needs, including doctor's offices or patient service centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate specimen collection and processing (clinical and forensic)

• Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling of samples

• Maintain safe, clean, and professional work environments

• Document procedures and maintain records accurately

• Travel to multiple sites with minimal notice as needed

• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold company standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

• 3+ years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric

• 2+ years in a patient service center preferred

• Strong data entry and multitasking skills

• Must be flexible, punctual, and available for weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts

• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation

• Must live within 20–25 minutes of the site and list commute time on resume
