Strand, which seeks to strengthen the bond between mothers, daughters and young girls across the United States, Caribbean and Africa.
Job Summary:
Client is looking for a Digital Designer Manager to support our fast-paced
eCommerce and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels.
The position is responsible for delivering effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative for web pages, email
promotional creative, email templates, and other associated graphics.
This person must
be highly organized, self-motivated, solutions-oriented and able to think creatively and
quickly.
Excellent project management, communication skills and attention to detail are
essential for the position.
This is a fast paced role (organization) that requires someone
with a high capacity, attention to detail, and an ability to develop creative and effective
solutions that align with the goals and objectives of the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
Produce and manage the designs for email campaigns, email templates, webpages and banners. Review all creative briefs with authors to understand project objectives. Bring innovative digital ideas to life with superior creativity.
Lead and manage across all phases of strategy, development, contracting, preproduction, production on set, post production, distribution).
Work with the DTC team and developers to ensure aesthetics are aligned with
usability, accessibility, and web standards. Work with developers to ensure proper implementation within a web environment and ensure consistency and integrity of the creative vision.
Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and translate create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital customer touch points.
Understanding of customer segmentation and design of email versioning as it relates.
Manage a high-volume of requests, while meeting project deadlines and demonstrating a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
Maintain brand guidelines and ensure assets hold brand consistency
Partner with DTC team to leverage performance data and learnings to iterate optimizations to campaigns
Special projects and other duties relating to graphics or marketing may be assigned
Work successfully with the Creative Director to create and maintain schedules
and estimates that fit within those of the larger campaign. Obtain approvals of casting, locations, and any other shoot elements requiring sign-off before shooting begins.
Feel confident that the assignment specifications and schedule are realistic, and if not, communicate appropriately.
Manage digital marketing design hub.
Education and Experience:
BA/BS graphic design
5-7 years digital design experience
Exceptional design portfolio, retail industry experience preferred
Strong Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
Experience with HTML & CSS, including responsive design
Shopify Plus and Klaviyo experience a must
Minimum 3 years experience designing for e-Comm, social platforms, email and paid advertising
Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills
A detail-oriented, collaborative, team-player

Influences and guides the digital marketing strategy through the visual experience and digital brand Transforms concepts into intuitive high-performing digital marketing materials Presents design ideas, concepts, and prototypes with marketing managers, collaborating to achieve project goals Education and Experience Bachelor s Degree and 4+ years experience in digital design or related field (ux, ui, web design, visual design, graphic design, etc.) Or 10+ years of equivalent work-related experience
