Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Miami, FL, 33144
Duration: 6 Months
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm & Rotational Saturday 6:30 am - 10:30 am.
Overview:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for providing high-quality phlebotomy services and patient support. This role represents the face of the company, ensuring patients receive safe, accurate, and professional specimen collection while maintaining trust and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen collection activities accurately, safely, and on time under supervision.

Collect and prepare quality blood and specimen samples for laboratory testing following established protocols.

Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures clearly, ensuring comfort, and building trust with patients of all ages (pediatric, adult, and geriatric).

Demonstrate proficiency in both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing.

Maintain accurate records, documentation, and patient confidentiality.

Promote a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Represent the organization positively to patients, clients, and the community.

Adhere to attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct requirements.
Requirements:

Ability to deliver accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts as required.

Strong customer service skills with experience in patient-facing roles.

Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry.

Must have reliable transportation (car required; rideshare/public transit not acceptable).

Must live within a 20–25 minute commute to the worksite.
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Medical training (Medical Assistant, Paramedic, or related) preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Experience:
-
Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
-
1+ years of phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.

Prior experience in customer service (retail, healthcare, or service industry) preferred.
