Schedule: 3 Months (Contract)
Shift: 8-hour shifts | Start between 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM (40 hrs/week)
Pay Rate: $70 - $80/hr. on W2
Position Summary:
We’re seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to deliver high-quality breast imaging services in alignment with ACR, MQSA, The Joint Commission, and Radiation Practice Standards. The role reports to the Mammography Supervisor and Manager and includes support for advanced breast procedures while maintaining exceptional accuracy, safety, and patient care.

Position Summary:
We’re seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to deliver high-quality breast imaging services in alignment with ACR, MQSA, The Joint Commission, and Radiation Practice Standards. The role reports to the Mammography Supervisor and Manager and includes support for advanced breast procedures while maintaining exceptional accuracy, safety, and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily mammography and bone density studies in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.
- Assist radiologists with breast-related procedures (needle localization, stereotactic biopsy, galactogram) after competency is obtained.
- Review patient history, verify physician orders, and ensure complete, accurate documentation.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively using proper technical factors and radiation protection practices.
- Prepare completed studies for timely radiologist interpretation with accurate labeling and documentation.
- Support Quality Assurance activities (Hologic Selenia, AGFA printer, etc.).
- Identify and report changes in patient condition; assist with emergency response as directed.
- Support scheduling and workflow coordination as needed.
- Maintain MQSA compliance; participate in meetings, audits, and continuing education.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed Mammography Technologist (preferred).
- Bone Density experience preferred
Required Certifications & Skills:
- CRT (R)(M) – California State License
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) credentials (original documentation with date required)
- AHA BLS Certification
