Key Responsibilities:
- Process payment requests by verifying contract terms and updating payment schedules accordingly for Client Studios Development and Overhead
- Review weekly payroll and timecard data to ensure accuracy and completeness for term deal employees
- Code accounts payable transactions for term deal and overhead expenses, securing necessary approvals and ensuring timely payments
- Collaborate with HR and production teams to support term deal requirements and assist other studio departments as needed
- Partner with Contract Administration to resolve vendor setup issues and support vendor onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assist with month-end close activities related to Smart Accounting systems
- Maintain accurate working files and documentation to support financial audits and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or payroll operations, preferably in the entertainment industry
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with Oracle, Smart View, or Entertainment Partner system is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
