Job Description: /Job Purpose
- Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electromechanical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.
- Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements. Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and utilize appropriate measurement procedures.
- Perform corrective actions to address identified measurement issues.
- Adapt equipment, standards, and procedures to accomplish unique measurements.
- Maintain calibration standards.
- Ensures the calibration laboratory is maintained.
- Interfaces with the customer to determine support requirements.
- Complete all assigned tasks in accordance with all required procedures, applicable regulatory requirements and quality requirements.
- Generate Calibration Investigation Forms (CIF) to monitor the quality of calibration equipment.
- Evaluate new calibration methods and procedures.
Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Qualifications
- AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 3 years of related experience.
