Position Description:
The Packaging Technician is responsible for the final packaging of various product lines within the Biotech industry. This role involves completing production tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instruction Documents. Precision and attention to detail are critical, as errors can result in significant interpretative issues. The position involves routine tasks with occasional deviations and moderate complexity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production equipment, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality results.
- Collaborate with other technicians for filling, labeling, and packaging products.
- Review and complete production paperwork, including product and label reconciliation, labor sheets, product fill checks, and torque checks.
- Follow manufacturing documents and SOPs meticulously, with no deviation.
- Safely handle chemicals and hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and ISO 13485 guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, machines, glassware, and equipment as required.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely task and project completion.
- Perform duties in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and varying shifts, including potential overtime.
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in basic packaging techniques, equipment operation, and record retention.
- Comfortable handling chemicals and hazardous materials.
- Strong organizational and computational skills, with the ability to work precisely
- Experience in filling, labeling, and packaging products.
Nice to have:
- Previous production or laboratory experience is advantageous but not required.
