Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM Rotational Weekends.

Job Description:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, providing essential healthcare services to patients, whether for routine care or critical health decisions. The PSR I is responsible for skillfully drawing blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing, following established protocols and procedures. This position involves direct patient interaction, requiring the PSR I to foster a trusting and confident atmosphere by explaining procedures clearly and ensuring that blood draws are performed safely and accurately. Additionally, the PSR I is expected to demonstrate leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and the accuracy of patient information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately perform daily tasks under the guidance of the area supervisor.

• Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients.

• Confidently manage both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, following established practices and protocols.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation.

• Promote a positive image of the company by providing excellent service to patients, clients, employees, and the general public.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including expertise in working with pediatric and geriatric patients.

• Flexible and available to work various shifts as needed, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience required.

• One year or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.

• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.

• Keyboard/data entry experience is essential.
