Job Description:
- Supports the events specialist responsible for planning, organizing, and executing corporate events that align with organizational goals and creates positive experiences for attendees.
- Events include customer meetings, business conferences/events, and team-building activities.
- The role requires organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Supports meetings/events at client's Charlotte, NC, headquarters. Meetings include customer visits, community outreach events, internal meetings involving more than 50 people, and onboarding for interns and other large groups.
- Support includes reserving meeting space, coordinating with facilities team for room set-up, working with cafe on catering, registration process for external visitors, and housing /transportation needs for external visitors.
- Supports events specialist with proofing event documentation (banquet event orders, production schedules, run of shows)
- Supports events specialist with reviewing and paying invoices.
- HSD required.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in event planning--organization, coordinating events, reviewing contracts. Any industry--wedding, special events, hospitality, banquets.
