Contract: 3 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing a small sub-area within distribution operations, ensuring employee training, productivity, inventory accuracy, and order quality standards are met. This role plays a key part in achieving daily shipping targets across retailer and stock transfer orders while maintaining safety and quality compliance.

Position Overview:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing a small sub-area within distribution operations, ensuring employee training, productivity, inventory accuracy, and order quality standards are met. This role plays a key part in achieving daily shipping targets across retailer and stock transfer orders while maintaining safety and quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Productivity
- Assign employees to workstations
- Monitor productivity and escalate concerns to supervisor as needed
- Prioritize and delegate workload based on daily pickup times
- Train new hires on safety procedures and departmental work instructions
- Provide leadership in team building, safety, and quality
- Inspect and audit orders/finished goods for accuracy and specifications
- Set and reinforce quality standards for order/material handlers
- Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Lead investigations impacting KPIs
- Assist with audits and verify adherence to Zero Defect processes
- Participate in non-conformance investigations
- Support Root Cause Analysis and corrective action implementation
- Perform clerical duties including record keeping and reporting
- Provide daily performance recaps to management
- Input and manage data in computer systems
- Follow all safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1+ year Distribution or Quality Coordinator experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong communication skills (English reading/writing required)
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities to drive KPIs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- SAP experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work overtime as needed
