Location: Cumberland, RI (02864)
Duration: 6+ months (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: Hybrid; Mon – Fri (8am-5pm); Onsite – Only Tuesday.
Pay Range: $25 - $25.50/hr. on w2
Position Summary:
The Medical Staff Office Senior Coordinator is responsible for managing the non-clinical aspects of physician operations for Client. This role supports regulatory and administrative processes, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external requirements. The Senior Coordinator works cross-functionally to maintain efficient physician operations and support ongoing departmental initiatives.

Position Summary:
The Medical Staff Office Senior Coordinator is responsible for managing the non-clinical aspects of physician operations for Client. This role supports regulatory and administrative processes, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external requirements. The Senior Coordinator works cross-functionally to maintain efficient physician operations and support ongoing departmental initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and support provider and Collaborating Physician applications to the Georgia Composite Medical Board for prescriptive authority.
- Ensure prescriptive authority documentation is fully executed, filed, and maintained.
- Enter and update provider data in the MDStaff database.
- Assist with departmental projects and operational initiatives.
- Participate in additional administrative activities as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, complex administrative environment.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.
- Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in an energetic environment.
- Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with colleagues, vendors, and physicians.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, including independent judgment when needed.
- Project management experience preferred.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
