Supply Clerk

Responsible for the physical receipt of products, staging, and routing of materials into and out of the Business Unit (BU).

1. Inspect and verify items against vendor paperwork; date-stamp products in preparation for putaway.

2. Notify the receiving team of any discrepancies between materials received and shipper documentation.

3. Report any short-dated materials (less than 30 days of shelf life) upon receipt to the Lean Supply Supervisor for further action.

4. Store warehoused items in designated areas; rotate stock by receipt and expiration dates to ensure proper stock rotation and minimize waste.

5. Stage and deliver stock from the warehouse to appropriate laboratory stocking areas.

6. Assist with warehouse cycle counting processes.

7. Prepare shipments for outbound delivery.

8. Comply with all applicable policies and procedures, including Materials and Services Management, Human Resources, Employee Health and Safety, Compliance, OSHA, and CLIA.

9. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work effectively within a team

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

• Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack)

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED

• At least one year of previous materials management experience

• Forklift certification preferred
