Interventional Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic
Location: Bronx, NY, 10461
Duration: 3+ months of contract with possible extensions

Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8x5 schedule, weekends required, on-call required

Pay Range: $63 - $68/hr.on W2
 
Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum one (1) year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty, and stenting – Required.
•  

• Knowledge in CT (Computerized Tomography) – Preferred.

• Associate’s degree from a Radiologic Technology program – Required.

• Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH (may be obtained after offer) – Required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) – Required.
• One (1) of the following advanced-level ARRT certifications – Required:
• ARRT (CI) – Cardiac Interventional Radiology
• ARRT (CV) – Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology
• ARRT (VI) – Vascular Interventional Radiology

• Assist interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures using specialized equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment.
• Administer contrast dyes.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
