Location: Foster city, CA
Job duration- 6 months
Department: Warehouse Operations / Manufacturing
Pay rate- $23/hr on w2
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Technician in the GMP Warehouse Department is responsible for executing daily warehouse and production-related activities in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This includes material handling, equipment operation, documentation, and support of manufacturing and packaging processes to ensure safe and compliant product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform material handling activities including receiving, sampling, storing, dispensing, and staging of raw materials and components under GMP conditions.

Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated systems.

Support manufacturing operations by preparing and transferring materials to production areas.

Accurately complete GMP documentation including logbooks, batch records, and inventory records.

Conduct line clearance, area cleaning, and equipment sanitization per standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and manufacturing support areas to comply with GMP and safety standards.

Perform in-process checks and inspections to ensure material and process compliance.

Utilize inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, LIMS, or equivalent) to track movement and status of materials.

Participate in cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities.

Assist in deviation investigations, change controls, and continuous improvement projects as required.

Adhere to cGMP, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical certification preferred.

1–3 years of experience in a GMP-regulated warehouse or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with GMP documentation, SOPs, and material handling requirements.

Experience with warehouse systems (ERP, LIMS, MES) is a plus.

Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory software).

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment:

Cleanroom and controlled environment warehouse settings.
-
Requires wearing of PPE (e.g., gowns, gloves, masks) as per GMP standards.

Rotational shifts or weekend availability may be required depending on operational needs.
