Location: Somerset NJ- Onsite
Duration: 1 yr possible extensions
Pay rate: $24.00-$25.00/hr.
Shift: 2nd shift 2-10:30pm
Job Description
Education: High School Diploma Required. Degree in Chemistry with at least 1 year of relevant working experience
Top 3 skills: Experience in odor/sensory evaluation, Detail oriented, History or Experience in fragrance industry.
Interview Process: -First round Teams, Second round - In Person

Sterling client simply order the exams via the Sterling platform. The pending new hire will enter their zip code and then select a clinic convenient to them. Sometimes they go to a Lab Corp or Quest for the drug screen, they may use a Concentra or a CityMD or a completely different clinic.
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this position, you will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.

Your key responsibilities
• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory activities including testing of incoming material and finished products for specifications and sensory evaluation.
• Approve/reject the product within the time stipulated.
• Identify and troubleshoot common problems/issues encountered. Keep daily record and appropriate documentation on all laboratory work performed.
• Independently operate standard equipment/procedures to the required level.
• Assure compliance of SHE procedure and proactively contribute to the improvement of lab safety.
You bring
• Diploma/Degree in Chemistry with at least 1 year of relevant working experience
• Ability to work independently as well as within a multi-cultural team.
• Must be willing to work overtime when required.
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Experience in handling GC & GCMS is preferred
