Key Responsibilities:
- Support Release Management Activities: Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing software and system releases.
- Contribute to Change Management Processes: Participate in the change management lifecycle, ensuring changes are properly assessed, planned, and implemented.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in existing processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with changes and releases.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful releases and changes.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to change and release management processes.
- Tool Management: Utilize ServiceNow and JIRA to manage changes, releases, and related workflows.
- Supplier Calls: Participate and contribute to supplier calls, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
- Proven experience in a Business Analyst role with a focus on Change and Release Management.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and JIRA.
- Experience with risk management principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in the Banking/Finance industry is a plus.
- Job Title: IT Business Analyst - Release Manager
- Duration: 6 months initial contract with potential extensions up to 36 months
- Location: Initially 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, transitioning to 100% onsite from September.
