Job Title: Product Design and Development - Materials Designer 2

Qualification:
- Minimum required years of experience: 2+ YOE in Footwear Materials Design
- Experience with Kids (grade school, preschool) and CORE business (entry level into the brand, bigger accounts but lower end price points)
- Has a strong sense of materials cost margins and how to drive value at a lower cost for materials
- MUST include Portfolios
- Understanding of the CORE consumer, storytelling, their part in the design process or who their partners were
- Knowledge of seasonal gates, has set up the product materials numbers
- Experience with Leathers - genuine leather, synthetic leather, able to identify and understand their differences,
- Knowledge of materials duties (import taxes)
- Software/technical requirements:
- CLO, Viscom, Adobe, CAD,
